How to Apply, Documents Required & Pass Types โ 2026
The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) offers e-pass facilities for eligible passengers including students, senior citizens, differently-abled persons, and government employees. The e-pass allows free or heavily subsidized bus travel across Gujarat’s extensive GSRTC network.
Types of GSRTC e-Pass

How to Apply for GSRTC e-Pass Online
Step 1
Go to gsrtc.in and navigate to the e-Pass / Concession section in the main menu.
Step 2
Choose your applicable category from the dropdown (Student, Senior Citizen, Divyang, etc.).
Step 3
Enter personal details, address, route details (from-to stations), and upload required documents.
Step 4
ID proof, address proof, category certificate (age proof/disability certificate/school ID), and passport photo.
Step 5
Submit your application. Processing takes 7โ15 working days. Track status via your mobile number or application ID.
Step 6
Visit your nearest GSRTC depot with your acknowledgment number and original ID to collect the card.

Documents Required (General Checklist)
- Aadhaar Card (mandatory for most categories)
- Recent passport-size photograph (JPG/PNG)
- Category-specific certificate โ school ID / disability certificate / age proof
- Gujarat domicile or residence proof
- Active mobile number for OTP verification
Offline Application Alternative
Applications can also be submitted in person at any GSRTC regional office or main bus depot. Bring original documents and two sets of photocopies. Offline processing typically takes 10โ20 working days.
Renewal Reminder
GSRTC e-passes are valid for one year from the date of issue. Set a reminder to renew 30 days before expiry to avoid any gap in your travel concession.
