trakt.tv/activate โ Complete Device Activation Guide
Trakt is a platform that automatically tracks what you’re watching on Kodi, Plex, Emby and dozens of other apps. To link your app to Trakt, you enter a code at trakt.tv/activate.

Step-by-Step Activation
- Open the Trakt-enabled app (Kodi, Plex, etc.) on your device.
- Navigate to Trakt settings โ Authorize / Connect โ an 8-character activation code appears.
- On your phone or PC go to trakt.tv/activate.
- Log in to your Trakt account (or create a free one).
- Enter the 8-character code and click Continue โ Authorize.
- Return to your app โ it will confirm the connection automatically.

Troubleshooting
- Code expired: Codes are valid for 10 minutes. Restart authorization in the app for a new code.
- “Invalid code” error: Double-check capitalization โ codes are case-sensitive.
- App not syncing: Sign out and re-authorize. Check Trakt status for outages.
